Well, Laura is in her final semester!  She’s passed all the classes and finished all the homework and projects!  All that remains is a short 2-week internship, which being shortly, and a busywork class that she’s in right now.  She’ll be the proud recipient of her degree in August.
It’s been a long & hard 2 [...]

Welcome Stella

This is “Stella”, our new Schnauzer puppy.  I know, we didn’t wait long, but Stella was available and cute, and only 7 weeks old.  She’s going to be raised as an inside-dog, and so far is doing just fine .

RIP: Daisy 2005-2009

Yesterday our dog Daisy passed away.  We’re still not entirely sure what happened to her. Saturday she was fine. Sunday she quite obviously was not, and Monday morning she was dead.  We first got Daisy back in 2005, and while me and her didnt’ really see eye-to-eye on alot, she was a good dog.  In [...]

Laura’s New Doo

This weekend Laura decided to give up on long-hair, and went in for a trim & Dye.  The result is shown here, with the bright blond streaks.  Personally, I think it looks great on her.  Apparently, alot of other folks think so as well.

The funny part of it, however, has been watching Rhi & Ethan’s reactions to it.  Ethan, of course, was a bit confused at first but shook it off.  Rhianna spent alot of time just looking at Laura, trying to figure out what had changed.  When she finally realized it was the hair, Rhi told Laura that it looked silly and she needed to wash her hair!  We explained to her that this was done voluntarily, and while she still doesn’t understand it, she’s accepted it.

Extended Absense

It’s been a busy couple of months.  At work I’ve been busy with ezViz & FreezerBurn (Which I’ll mention in a future article).  At home, Laura’s and Rhi are back to school from the Christmas break and I’ve been busy with Final Colony.  It’s been pretty hectic, but better busy than bored.

On a fun note, we did get a fair bit of snow a few weeks ago.  We managed to get some fun pictures of us playing and building snowmen.  Check the pics out inside, and expect more frequent updates in the near future.

The Newest Hand

I just wanted to let everyone know that we’re now the proud owner of "Lucy" (shown left), a beautiful female calico cat.  She belonged to my sister, but now that she’s pregnant she’s not really able to manage both her dog and cat while managing their 2-story townhouse apartment.  So we took her.

She’s only about 6 months old, but has already been spayed and declawed.  That makes her perfect for our family (we were worried about a cat taking a piece out of Ethan).  She’s a beautiful long-hair cat, and now that’s she’s calmed down a bit she’s fitting in just fine.
