So, I’m a Mac user.  Pretty much 100% nowadays.  In this upcoming year, I’ve got alot of things happening:

  • Formed an LLC for VizWorld.com
  • Picked up a Health Spending Account
  • Switched to new Health Insurance
  • Lots of new Tax Stuff
  • etc

All of this means paper, lots and lots of paper.  Now, I already use Evernote and maintain a premium account so I can throw PDF’s at it with ease (particularly so with the Mac’s “Print to PDF in Evernote” option.

However, this will require alot of physical paper, so I’ld like to get a scanner that I can use to replace/categorize this paper.  My requirements:

  • Capable of scanning fullsize sheets (8.5×11) and receipts of varying lengths (for the Health Account)
  • Compatibility with a Mac & OSX Leopard/Snow Leopard
  • Compatibility with EverNote (Really, this just means Scan to PDF but OCR would be nice)
  • Small/portable (My main computer is a MacBook, so this won’t really have a permanent home)

The one I keep seeing popping up over and over again is the Fujitsu ScanSnap?  Does anyone else have any suggestions or experience?
