I know, I know, the “sorry I haven’t updated in a while” post is so cliche.  But I felt I needed to put something here.

I’ve recently been consumed with VizWorld.com, my new pet project.  And it’s doing GREAT.  Some recent successes:

• VizWorld.com is now indexed as part of Google News.
• I was contacted by NAB with a special invitation to the conference, & given a promotional code for registration
• A recent article about the SGI & Rackable Aquisition hit 6000 pageviews on it’s first day, making it #1 by a wide margin.
• I managed to get a Phone Interview with the SGI VP of Corporate Marketing, to include in a special edition podcast
• I’ve gotten preliminarly approval for another interview with AutoDesk about one of their new products
• The weekly podcast is still going strong

All in all, I call Vizworld a success, although it does take alot of time to keep it working.  It’s alot of fun, and as I get better at it the time required goes down, or at least is better allocated    So, hopefully I’ll find the time to get back to updating here soon..
