I have read at the Nuevasync blog that the service now has push email, and it pushes your gmail email without the need for many settings. That is not a free service – $25/yr. Sounds reasonable, but I am still debating whether or not to try.

Good post. Thanks for the comparison. I just tried out Google Sync and discovered that it didn't update the 'other' phone numbers and deleted additional mobile numbers! I am going to give NuevaSync a try as it sounds like they don't have this problem.

Thanks for the well written overview. I'm still on Nuevasync since it doesn't require installing ActiveSync, but I'm tempted.
