On this same subject, I got a very similar inquiry: I wish to enable the "Mark as Unread" command in the Outlook Rules, that for some reason (a very stupid one) is not enlisted within said Rules executions. I do gather that the thing to do would be a Macro, that would be executed thanks to the "Run a Customized Action" option in the Outlook Rules. Could you be kind enough to show me the code to do so? Y'see, VB is not my stronghold either. TIA!

I have no idea how you'ld even run the code outside of a MAcro.. I'm not aware of any way to put VBA scripts inside Rules.

Is it possible to get the VBA code without a macro, so that it will automaticllay mark all items as read within a specific folder... ie i have rule that moves my sent items from my work exchange folder to my personal sent folder (because of the 40 day rule on exchange). That works fine but i need to also automate that those items when they arrive in the new folder are read, currently have to manually amend. Thanks
