The Death of "Acumen" ?
Got an email from an interviewee with Mako Surgical, and got to digging around for some info on how Acumen/Z-Box was doing. I was a little disappointed.
EBI Medical’s Products page no longer lists it. To the left you’ll see an image I captured of what the page used to look like, and Google’s Cache shows the link that used to be there. If you have the page bookmarked, you can still reach the Acumen Product Page, but who knows for how long. Add to this the news that Biomet hired Morgan Stanley to come in and help them “trim some fat” to get their financials up. Biomet’s stock has been slumping for the last few quarters due to missed projections. Could Acumen have been caught in the crossfire? I wouldn’t be surprised, honestly.
