Thanksgiving 2005
That time of year again. A time of loosened belts, oversized meals, and Tryptophan-induced afternoon naps. I’ll be spending the holiday with my parents, and I’m really lookin forward to some good Turkey & Dressing.
And of course, what comes after Thanksgiving? Black Friday, every retailer’s wet dream and every retail worker’s nightmare. If you want to see the deals you can expect this year there’s no shortage of places to look, places like Black Friday 2005 and Black Friday @ GottaDeal.com. Personally, I’m not gonna go stand in line at 3am just to get a good deal at Best Buy, but I’m sure alot of people will. Sadly, there’s no more Xbox 360′s to buy.
Well, kinda sadly. Early reports indicate that the XBox360 suffers from a hardware problem causing some severe Atari-esque crashes, rendering several games just unplayable. Slashdot has the story too, along with several others. I didn’t particularly want a 360 anyway, but it’s funny to think that after all this time Microsoft still can’t release a stable product.
