Where’s the Doctor?
Well, it seems I’m the only one in the family that’s not sick lately.
Rhianna is allergic to bug bites. We already knew that, nothing new. Well, last week her grandparents surprised her with a swingset and boy has she enjoyed it. On it’s premiere voyage, tho, Rhianna got ate up by mosquitos, despite the suntan location/insect repellant. We didn’t think much of it, until the next day when she came home from day care and they were HUGE and yellow and crusty. We took her to the doctor who quickly gave us some antibiotics and told us to just keep an eye on them. I added using neosporin & bandaids, and gladly they’re pretty much gone now. Unfortunately, the antibiotics stopped her up worse than a cork. She spent a day or two mildly complaining about “Tummy Hurt”. Finally, it got so bad she just curled up on the floor and started crying. A few laxatives later and she’s back to 100%.
Of course, right as that wraps up and Rhianna is getting back to normal, Laura goes in for outpatient surgery. The surgery was simple enough, and quick, but she’s still recooperating from it. All sore and tender near the operating site, and completely unallowed to lift anything, which includes her backpack & Rhianna. So I’ll be taking Rhianna to daycare, and picking her up in the afternoon.. And bathing her, and feeding her, and everything else.
I would say that Laura’s getting to take it easy, but from what I saw of her Chemistry Lab and from how she feels, maybe it’s not so bad just having to haul Rhianna around
