At my new job I work alot with Irix. It’s just enough like Linux to be frustrating.

I customized my SGI system at MississippiStateUniversity pretty extensively, so that when it was all said and done you couldn’t recognize it. I haven’t taken it that far here (yet :) ) but I have done some customization. The Irix community is fairly small, but thriving on the internet, so I decided to conglomerate a few of the things I’ve done into a SGIIrixTweaks page on my twiki. Hopefully someone else will find it useful :)
