Well, I grouped up with some friends this weekend and we went out killing Black Sun pirates. My ship was just left in the dust as these master pilots in their tricked out X-Wings slaughtered everything in just 3 or 4 shots, while it takes me 10-20.

Well, I spent some time getting some new equipment and tricking out my own ship, and now I can take these guys down in about 6 or 7 shots. It looks like I’m going to have to learn all this “Reverse Engineering” stuff if I’m to get any better tho. The big weapons that those guys are using simply won’t fit on my ship due to weight restrictions. So I need to RE most of my components, especially my shield and engine, to free up space.

On a good note, I bought a new droid interface to pop in my X-Wing, a whopping 15.1 speed! Lowest I’ve seen yet, and at only 500 mass & energy! I went and bought a new level 4 R2 unit to use, and fully loaded it. Much to my surprise, you no longer need droid chips to program your droid. Seems the Rebellion finally has decided to move from EPROM’s to Flash BIOS :) So I took it out for a test drive with my new commands, and man.. That’s sweet :)
