Well, it sure seems like a few lawyers are about to make a buttload of cash…

USA Today is carrying a story that that Marvel Comics is sueing Cryptic Studios over City of Hero’s. Evidently, they’re upset that you could possibly create a character that looked and acted like the Incredible Hulk or Wolverine. I tend to agree with some people that believe Marvel is just mad that they were beaten to the MMORPG Superhero market, and now want a piece of the money.

Also, EA Games is falling victim to a Class Action Lawsuit filed by it’s employees. Why you ask? Well, it seems several employees are quite upset (see also the comments on these two slashdot stories: 1 2). Apparently, employees are tired of working 80+ hour weeks with no compensation or overtime pay. Can’t blame them, I wouldn’t put up with that for long either. GameSpot did some research and discovered that the case is real, although still in it’s infancy.
