Well, although The Incredibles opens tonight, Laura & I will be at home tending to Rhianna. Same as usual :) But we have gotten to catch up on some older movies we missed, thanks to the local Blockbuster. We’ve become quite the DVD renters, and we can easily get 3 or 4 movies for the price of 1 local theatre trip, so it’s probably a good thing all in all.

Speaking of DVD’s, a DVD that my dad burned finally showed up this week. He mailed it over two weeks ago, but it just finally showed up. Odd as it sounds, I think it might have been in the same boat (or plane or truck) as the missing absentee ballots, since the DVD showed up about the same time as the ballots. We watched it last night, with footage all the way from back when Rhianna was in her little bouncy seat eating pureed sweet potatoes. It was amazing to see just how chubby and immobile she was back then, compared to now where we can barely keep up with her. Looks like we’re gonna have to start making more DVD’s, as the simplicity & quality is alot better than VHS, and I bet it lasts longer too.

So, anyone have any suggestions for rentals? Last weekend was The Day After Tomorrow and Walking Tall. Might try to get Resident Evil (Laura hasn’t seen it yet, and loved the sequel), or the new Dawn of the Dead, Kill Bill vol2, or the new Shrek 2 DVD… So many choices, so little time
