IE Security Patch
I found this last week, and it seems like a good thing to spread around.
There’s a major security hole in Internet Explorer (surprised, huh?) involving the ADODB ActiveX control. Microsoft released a patch to partially fix the problem earlier this week, but it doesn’t completely eliminate the possibility of getting cracked (as my Dad can unfortunately attest to).
so for those of you who want it, it’s a simple registry patch found here on Microsoft’s Knowledge Base. Just download & execute, and you should be safe (for a while longer).
