Well, last weekend was both my sister’s (April’s) Wedding & RhiannaHand’s first Birthday! Big weekend for everyone!

April’s wedding went pretty well. It was pretty rocky, since the Wedding coordinator couldn’t show up and had to appoint a replacement. The replacement was, shall we say, less than impressive. It was rocky, but it all came together and April seemed pretty happy with it. And that’s all that matters :) So she’s no longer April Hand, but April Bradley.

Rhianna’s birthday went great too! We visited Laura’s parents who had made *alot* of food, and 2 cakes! One for us, and one little cake for Rhianna. Rhianna was a bit hesitant at first, but once Laura mashed her hands into the cake, Rhianna had a field day. The cutest part was when they gave her a scoop of Ice Cream. She would pick it up and put it in her mouth, but it was so cold she would grimace and spit.. Then her hand would get too cold so she’d drop the ice cream. After a few seconds tho, she would realize “Hey, that’s kinda good”, and pick it back up and repeat. It was precious :)

Rhianna is staying with our parents for a few weeks, so Laura & I will have some time to relax and hang out. We saw Shrek 2 last weekend, and Ven Helsing. Short story: Shrek 2 is *awesome*, better than the first even. Ven Helsing is ok, action packed but a little too frantic.
