An old urban legend I used to hear every now and then in high school was the mythical “Master Car Key” that could open the door of every car. Of course, automobile manufacturer’s deny such a thing exists, but if it did it would be a carjacker’s wet dream.

Well, seems as though it’s not entirely a myth. Reports state that several teenagers have been arrested joyriding with these guys that open several models of cars. Sounds like the key works on almost all older model Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or Plymouth vehicles. The newer ones with the Electronic keys seem immune.

What’s even more interesting is that the cops say they’ve never seen one before about 6 months ago, and now they’ve busted half a dozen kids with them.
