Enterprise Season 3 & Jake 2.0
Last week was the premier of Star Trek: Enterprise Season 3. Apparently Season 2′s ratings didn’t live up to expectations, so the directors have decided to change things up a bit and take the show in a new direction. Now there’s a paramilitary group going along with Enterprise as they journey deep into “the Expanse”.
I have to admit I liked the first episode, although it did seem a little strange. Archer agreeing to start melting down warp relays to get enough latinum to see the Xindi, seemed a little different from his usual self. T’Pol and Trip getting intimate at the end seemed very odd. The entire episode seemed a little off, like something just wasn’t clicking. But I do have to admit I liked the action for a change. So I guess I’m hooked for another season.
Another show I caught was Invisible Man, where a guy is placed in a potentially deadly situation and given super powers, and relunctantly decides to help the good guys. All in all, though, I think I’ll watch it. It looked fun.
