Well, I managed to take an hour or so this afternoon to play some video games. I haven’t played any games since before RhiannaHand was born, and I was right smack in the middle of MetroidPrime and GhostRecon.

So I powered up my PS2 and played some GhostRecon. It’s amazing how relieving it can be to run around in the jungle, shooting russian terrorists. Granted I think only one person of my six-man team survived each of the three missions I played, but it was fun nonetheless.

Then I tried some MetroidPrime. I *love* Metroid, every since the 8-bit NES, and MetroidPrime is no exception. But this new Metroid proves all the reasons I don’t like first-person shooters on the console. I’ll have to post more in the Twiki one day, but for all those others playing the game and having trouble, I converted a MetroidPrimeFAQ and placed it in the Twiki, so feel free to modify it and post any new information you find.
