Another day down
Well, Rhianna passed the 48 hour mark, so the doctors claim she’s past the first hard part. Her jaundice is getting better, but they still have her on the billy blanket and billy light. They’ve been feeding her through a tube, and although disgusting she had her first bowel movement. Though smelly, it’s a good sign 
Laura is also doing better. She’s started walking around on her own, although slowly. They claim that she can come home tomorrow and they’re going to remove her staples before she comes home! That surprised me, that they could remove them so early. I spent last night at the hospital with her. I didn’t get much sleep, but it was the first night that I’ve spent with her since the baby was born, so we got to talk alot. We’re both so relieved that Rhianna is ok, but still worried that we won’t get to take her home tomorrow. But whatever the doctor says, we’ll do.
